Bobcats spring back to life with a boost from Ohio wildlife center

For the fourteenth time thus far, Lake Metroparks’ wildlife rehabilitation experts successfully saw to it that another bobcat got a second chance of life in Ohio’s wildlands.
The Lake County-based Lake Metroparks’ Penitentiary Glen Reservation/Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center in Kirtland released on May 8 a male bobcat on public land in Jefferson County. This effort was done with the partnership of the Ohio DNR’s Division of Wildlife.
