The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Adirondack Brook Trout Pond Management Plan is getting closer to being realized. DEC recently released a draft version of the plan, which is now available for review and for public comment through June 13.
Among the key regulation proposals in the plan is that the season for Adirondack brook trout ponds will remain April 1 – Oct. 15, and the catch/creel limit will be five fish per-day, of any size.
