New visitor center highlights 50th anniversary of Minnesota’s Voyageurs National Park

It’s going to be a celebratory summer at Voyageurs National Park – Minnesota’s only national park – in International Falls.
As federal park officials gear up to celebrate the VNP’s 50th anniversary, a new chapter in its history is being written. The Crane Lake Visitor Center, which has been in the works for several years, is opening at the end of May and will have a grand opening event June 6.
