As a dyed-in-the-wool pheasant, ruffed grouse, and quail hunter, Bob St. Pierre admits he pretty much has “bird on the brain” year-round.
As are other serious bird hunters, St. Pierre constantly monitors the weather and thinks about the welfare of the species he loves. That’s especially true during the winter and the current window of time that biologists call the spring nesting and summer brood-rearing season.
