We all know what to do. Identify legal game, aim, squeeze, tag, drag, skin, eat.
Yet we also know that things often fall apart after the “Identify legal game” part. We shake, we fumble, we can’t find the safety, we aim too high or low, we jerk the trigger. (Sometimes we even forget our tag!) I can’t help you with your tag, but as an old veteran of some 58 hunting seasons, I can offer some advice on four shooting mistakes to avoid.
