Foundation makes wetlands, stream accessible for all in Pennsylvania

Twenty-two cars and pickups nearly filled the parking lot at the Soaring Eagle Wetlands near Julian, Pa. The vehicles mainly belonged to anglers taking advantage of the access to a section of Bald Eagle Creek delineated as Keystone Select – and stocked with buckets full of big trout.
It should be no surprise that anglers flock to the state’s Keystone Stocked Trout Waters, because they provide excellent catch-and-release fishing for large trout. For three months out of the year, the biggest attraction at Soaring Eagle by far is the trout fishing.
