At the annual Kids-and-Cops fun shoot, the Wayzata High School Clay Target team competed in a friendly competition alongside first responders on May 29 at the Plymouth Gun Club.
“They get to enjoy getting to know the youth, and they also enjoy breaking targets,” joked Randal Baker, the coach of the high school clay target team.
The goal of hosting the event is to help young student-athletes create relationships with law enforcement officers or firefighters who serve their community.
