Algonquin Lake offers mixed bag for adventurous anglers in southern Michigan

Barry County’s Algonquin Lake is a sleeper for Michigan’s anglers. Although it’s not known for producing trophy-sized fish, it does have healthy bass, pike, and panfish populations and – for a couple of reasons – it doesn’t receive a lot of angling pressure.
