Michigan hunters harvested more deer – in particular more antlerless deer – last year than in 2023.
In all seasons combined, about 373,000 deer were bagged in Michigan, according to preliminary data reported by the DNR’s Brian Frawley to the Natural Resources Commission, which oversees DNR policies and programs. That was a 7.6% increase over 2023, Frawley said.
