Fishing ‘solid’ on this Adirondack campground water — Lake Harris (or is it Harris Lake?)

Is it Lake Harris, or Harris Lake? That depends on whom you ask about the 300-acre multi-species fishery in Newcomb, Essex County. Even the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation mixes things up when it comes to the terminology. It’s often referred to as Harris Lake, yet there’s a DEC campground on the lake known as Lake Harris Campground and Day Use Area.
