Fish Ohio program marks 50th anniversary

The state’s fishing license program has achieved its century mark this year and everyone who participates in the Fish Ohio program will receive a symbolic piece of birthday cake.
In a manner of speaking. For this year, the Fish Ohio pin will feature as its emblem a very good representation of the leaping largemouth bass that appeared on the 1925 Ohio license. That was the first time Ohio adults were required to buy a fishing license.
