Turns out Pennsylvania’s Presque Isle bass are color-sensitive
Published: , in Outdoor News
My friend, Dave Bates, an outdoor communicator from southwest Pennsylvania, asked if I would help him catch some of the bass in Presque Isle when we gathered for a recent writers’ conference in Erie.
I agreed to do so, and asked my good friend, Jim Sherred, to join us. Jim is a talented angler who I sometimes think could pull a fish from a mud puddle. For avid anglers, Presque Isle is Erie’s crown jewel whenever access to Lake Erie is questionable. We were determined to lead Dave to some of Presque Isle’s robust bass.
