Wisconsin NRB OKs fish rule changes, including April trout opener

The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB), at its June 25 meeting, approved changes in several fishing regulations, including opening the inland trout fishing season in April, one month earlier than the May fishing opener.
The regulations had been presented to the public at the 2025 spring fish and game public hearings in each county, plus at an additional hearing on May 22.
