Smallmouth, saugeye hard to beat at Piedmont Lake in eastern Ohio

Within the upper echelon of Ohio’s finest saugeye and smallmouth bass lakes is 2,310-acre Piedmont Lake, according to the DNR Division of Wildlife.
Piedmont lies within Ohio’s Wildlife District 4 and spreads across Guernsey, Belmont, and Harrison counties. By fall, the majority of stocked saugeyes have reached 8 inches.
