Six-bearded tom is New York’s new archery non-typical No. 1

A new No. 1 non-typical gobbler was taken with a crossbow this past turkey season on May 11 in Dutchess County by Kenneth Kraus, of Wappingers Falls.
The record book gobbler swung six beards totaling an impressive 37.8750 inches in length. The longest beard taped out at 10 inches, followed by 7.375, 6.625, 5.875, 56.625 and 2.375 inches respectively.
