Pennsylvania hatchery improvements lead to more trout being stocked

Thanks to a few improvements made at Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission hatcheries, anglers had nearly 90,000 more stocked trout to catch this year.
That news was delivered to the agency’s Fisheries and Hatcheries Committee at its July 8 meeting by Doug Hess, southern fish production manager for the commission.
“I think it’s been one of our best seasons,” he said.
