Minnesota’s LCCMR OKs 109 natural resources projects for $103 million in 2026

With around 400 applicants seeking funding from the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Natural Resources this year, only 109 are making the cut for a package of projects that will go before the Legislature in 2026.
“It was really heavy lifting for all the members, especially the legislators” and LCCMR staff to sift through almost double the number of proposals the commission receives, according to LCCMR co-chair Rita Albrecht.
