New York’s Sturgeon Point Marina to improve access for the disabled on Lake Erie

Western New York Walleye, a progressive-thinking walleye club focused on Lake Erie, made a media announcement at its July meeting that was held at the Sturgeon Point Marina facilities in Derby in the Town of Evans, in Erie County.
According to club President Ron Kucinski, the fishing organization will be teaming with the Town of Evans and Wheelchairs and Walleyes, a non-profit foundation from North Dakota, to install an inclusive wheelchair ramp and disabled person’s lift on the Sturgeon Point Marina property.
