With the lifting of the ban on Sunday hunting, the Pennsylvania Game Commission arranging 13 consecutive Sundays for hunting this fall and the adoption of weekend hunting, I bet most readers expected a respite from controversy surrounding the deer seasons.
And they’re probably right. But there is one piece of perhaps unfinished business – a bill to change the opening of deer season that likely will die in committee.
