‘Kawaga’ one of five joined lakes undergoing walleye ‘rehab’ in Wisconsin’s Oneida County

The DNR, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, and Walleyes for Tomorrow joined forces to assess the fishery of Kawaguesaga Lake during the spring of 2024.
Kawaga, as it is known locally, is a 670-acre drainage lake that’s part of the Minocqua Chain of Lakes that also includes Minocqua, Mid, Tomahawk, and Little Tomahawk lakes.
