Michigan DNR’s statewide angling regulations under review

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Division presented several proposed changes in fishing regulations to the state Natural Resources Commission at the NRC meeting in Gaylord earlier this month.
All of the proposed changes are up for action by the Commission at its Sept. 11 meeting in Lansing. Among them are requests to implement a catch-and-immediate-release sturgeon season on the Menominee River and to establish a daily limit on burbot.
