Wisconsin loses conservationists Carl Batha, Carol Murphy

Published: , in Outdoor News

Wisconsin lost two hard-working conservationists in August, as Carl Batha, 78, and Carol Murphy, 64, passed away.
Batha, of Platteville, retired from the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) as a wildlife ecologist, and was heavily involved in bringing wild turkeys back to Wisconsin. Murphy enjoyed time outside with a fishing rod and took on challenges as president of the Harry and Laura Nohr Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
