Wisconsin DNR, Department of Health Services working up new plan to decrease use of lead ammo

As attention turns more and more toward non-toxic ammunition, the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) learned more about a new ad hoc inter-agency team encouraging hunters to reduce exposure to lead.
The Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) Jasmine Batten and Department of Health Services’ (DHS) Brian Weaver, brought their new effort to NRB members during the board’s Sept. 24 meeting.
