Pharaoh Lake is a multi-use wilderness in the Eastern Adirondacks

New York’s Adirondack mountains may not seem as desolate as other parts of the country, or even Canada for that matter. But tell that to a wilderness hunter, angler or backpacker who spends their time in the Adirondack backcountry, particularly in a remote area classified as Wilderness.
