Ohio’s Morgan County could be added to deer bag-limit reductions due to EHD
Published: , in Outdoor News
The Ohio Division of Wildlife is proposing additional reduced deer bag limits in three southeast Ohio counties and wants to add Morgan County to the list of those with reductions.
Previously, the division proposed reduced bag limits for Athens, Meigs, and Washington counties, beginning Dec. 1, 2025 and running to Feb. 1, 2026. Morgan County, like the three counties previously named, lies at the heart of the Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHD) outbreak in Ohio.
