If you’re looking for a big-woods deer hunt, the Adirondacks are a great place to do just that.
But you don’t have to go there. Or to the Catskills. New York State’s Southern Tier is actually home to the single largest wildlife management area in the state – the 11,237-acre Connecticut Hill WMA that spans parts of Tompkins and Schuyler counties.
