Pennsylvania’s Shirley Grenoble fondly remembered as trailblazer for women in hunting

As a teenager in the 1980s, Joanie Haidle felt like she was the only woman who loved to hunt.
And then she heard about Shirley Grenoble. She picked up a hunting magazine at the grocery store and saw an article written by Grenoble. Intrigued, Haidle was determined to meet Grenoble, which she did in 2003 and went on to form a lifelong bond based on being women who loved to hunt.
