The Ohio DNR (ODNR) is facing a unique opportunity to expand its public lands in southern Ohio.
Division of Wildlife Chief Kendra Wecker said The Scioto Land Company, a producer of newsprint, approached the agency in recent months with an offer to sell about 22,000 acres of its land in six counties. Price tag: $37 million.
