Wisconsin’s Cloverleaf Lakes trail a lasting tribute to Pete Jensema

A hunting accident that paralyzed Pete Jensema as a teenager meant he needed a wheelchair for the rest of his life. That didn’t keep him from living an active life until he passed away this summer at age 56 from complications from a heart attack.
One of Jensema’s last achievements was to get the ball rolling on a handicap-accessible trail on Gibson Island near his home on the Cloverleaf Lakes in Shawano County, Wis.
