Eau Claire chain draws anglers to Wisconsin’s Bayfield County
Published: , in Outdoor News
Wisconsin is dotted with popular lake chains, including the Eau Claire Chain, consisting of Upper and Middle Eau Claire lakes in Bayfield County and Lower Eau Claire Lake, which is split between Bayfield and Douglas counties.
The DNR last surveyed Upper Eau Claire in 2017-18 to assess its game fish populations, primarily walleyes and muskies. Meanwhile, the crews ran a creel survey on Middle Eau Claire in 2022-23.
