Michigan’s firearms deer harvest declines from 2024

Michigan hunters registered 129,471 whitetails through the DNR’s mandatory online registration system during the 16-day firearms deer season.
That’s down approximately 2.8% from last year’s firearms season harvest. This year’s total includes 81,344 bucks and 48,127 antlerless deer. Hunters registered 38,129 whitetails on opening day.
