It’s debatable whether Blydenburgh Lake is better known as New Mill Pond or vice versa.
And let’s not forget the 111-acre Suffolk County lake is also known to some as Weld’s Pond or Stump Pond. Since the water is located within Smithtown’s Blydenburgh County Park, let’s go with Blydenburgh for now.
