U.S. House passes bill to delist nation’s gray wolves

The U.S. House of Representatives on Dec. 18 passed legislation that would, should the Senate pass a similar bill and the president sign it into law, federally delist timber wolves across the nation’s lower 48 states.
The bill, known as the “Pet and Livestock Protection Act” and sponsored by Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert, was approved by House members 211-204, with five Democrats siding with 206 Republicans to approve the bill, while four Republicans joined 200 Democrats is casting “no” votes.
