Minnesota commission OKs funding to examine data centers’ effect on water

At the Dec. 10 meeting of the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources, the commission approved two “emerging issues” projects that aim to gain better understanding of data center impacts on the state’s water resources.
The funding will be available pending the approval of Gov. Tim Walz.
