Ohio’s firearms deer hunt saw only two incidents in 2025

The Ohio Division of Wildlife recorded only two accidents during the recent deer-gun season that ran Dec. 1-7.
The incidents occurred in Meigs and Putnam counties, according to Kandy Klosterman, executive administrator of law enforcement for the division.
