Joe Hackett, who for decades worked as a professional outdoor guide in the heart of the Adirondacks, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Hackett’s obituary in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, a publication he wrote for, said “For more than four decades as a professional guide, Joe led clients and friends through the waterways and trails of the Adirondacks.
