Michigan commission approves use of new electronic kill tags

Michigan hunters and trappers will have additional tagging options for some animals they harvest this year following action taken earlier this month by the state Natural Resources Commission.
At its meting Jan. 14 in Lansing the commission voted in favor of a DNR proposal to allow the use of electronic kill tags, also called digital tags, e-harvest tags and e-kill tags.
