A sweeping investigation by Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources game wardens resulted in a $10,000 fine for a sharpshooter with Wildlife Management Service, a company that contracts with local governments for removing nuisance deer.
An abundance of deer, combined with development in rural areas of southeast Wisconsin, requires municipalities to take these steps.
