Deer baiting legislation clears Michigan House

Legislation to allow deer baiting during the hunting season received bipartisan approval by the Michigan House of Representatives by a 66 to 38 margin earlier this month and was sent to the Michigan Senate for consideration.
Sponsored by Rep. Jennifer Wortz (R-Quincy), House Bill 4445 was previously approved by the House Natural Resources and Tourism Committee.
