In a major boost for one of Wisconsin’s most ecologically significant regions, The Nature Conservancy (TNC) has secured nearly 1,000 acres of jack pine/oak forest and wetlands in the Central Sands Region, linking protected habitat to the public Colburn Wildlife Area in north-central Adams County.
