Pity the poor burbot. Too long scorned and dismissed, unlovely and unloved. At best an occasional nuisance while pursuing “real” fish like the mighty walleye. At worst, lumped in with carp and other “rough fish” as an undesirable trash fish and tossed on the ice: eagle food.
