Commentary: Consider catch and release to support fishing’s future

Whatever we do while fishing today will impact the future of fish existence. As our complex world becomes more populated, I am concerned how human landscapes and waterway abuse impacts wild species. Does our future outdoor adventures have a foundation? It does if we each do our part to create a mainstream of security.
I felt like Rick and I had helped ensure fishing’s future when I released a huge lake trout.
