Vermont, New York’s neighbor to the east, has a message for a group known as Mighty Earth regarding their efforts to bring mountain lions back to the Green Mountain State. “Slow down”
“A campaign is underway to bring mountain lions to Vermont,” said a Feb. 9 commentary penned by the agency’s leaders and posted on the agency website. “As the state agency that would be responsible for these cats if Mighty Earth succeeds, the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is asking mountain lion advocates to slow down.”
