Walleyes, perch top Great Lakes targets for Michigan anglers

Anglers caught more than 3.2 million fish last year in Michigan waters of three Great Lakes that border the state.
They kept about half of them. That’s just one tidbit we’ve learned from the DNR’s 2025 assessments of Michigan Great Lakes fish population.
