As Lenten season arrives and people make fish a greater part of their diet, some find that there are picky family members who insist that grocery store processed fish sticks are served instead of taking a chance that they encounter a bone that was left in a fillet from a wild caught walleye.
No harm intended to processed fish stick makers, but with all of the walleyes staked away in freezers from the bountiful Lake Erie population it is easy enough to guarantee that no bones are present in a walleye fish fry.
