Practice shooting sets the table for a successful turkey hunt with youth. But mentors need to know that there will be ups and downs.
Your kids will learn to battle through gun-shyness and recoil challenges. Don’t force them to take shots they don’t want to take. If they need a break, give them a break. If they don’t want to shoot and aren’t up to the challenge, they just may not be ready.
