Technology makes Pennsylvania’s elk center education available for a wide audience

The Keystone Elk Country Visitor Center, which opened in 2010, has two classrooms that provide an ideal setting to host on-site conservation education programs that have been widely praised.
As part of the center’s educational outreach, school teachers are provided the opportunity to schedule a field trip for their classes to the center. Those experiences have been well received. However, many students are not able to physically visit the elk center due to costs and distance.
