Deer drive conducted to usher out whitetails at preserve enclosure in New York

Published: , in Outdoor News

Over 100 volunteers recently gathered to conduct a “deer drive” to remove deer from a 30-acre area about to be enclosed and preserved. The effort seeks to protect the future enclosure from deer so that native trees and vegetation can thrive.
The enclosure will be part of the nearly 100-acre Hillside, located near additional lands that make up approximately 300 acres of the Hillside Woods. The park and woods is a popular recreation area in the Westchester County village.
