Michigan Natural Resources Commission OKs waterfowl seasons, concern for mallards remains

Michigan’s 2024 waterfowl hunting season will look very much like it did in 2023.
At its meeting earlier this month in Lansing, the state Natural Resources Commission voted unanimously to implement a proposal from the DNR Wildlife Division for a season nearly identical to last year’s. The proposal includes a 60-day duck season and a 107-day goose season.
